FootieBugs offers a Junior Coach Programme for 12-16 year olds during all school holidays, for our Academy and weekend classes.
It is the perfect experience needed for those who are thinking about a coaching career!
A Junior Coach will be taught everything needed to become an excellent coach including;
Setting up a coach session;
Coaching a warm up and fun game
Refereeing matches
Supporting a child on their technical ability
The processes of running a holiday camp and classes
Learning about giving positive feedback and encouragement to others.
Becoming a Junior Coach is not just about the coaching, it is also about playing and getting involved with the other children whilst enjoying the whole experience.
With 5 levels of training to complete over the course of the programme, each Junior Coach will have a great insight into coaching and will learn to develop their leadership skills, communication and confidence in coaching.
Each Junior coach will receive a coach uniform and workbook when booking on to the full week at the holiday camp or a monthly subscription**

per day at the Holiday Camp

per week for the Holiday Camp

OUR PROGRAMME CAN BE THE FIRST STEP TO YOU BECOMING A TOP QUALITY COACH.
Once you have passed the 5 levels and you are ready to become a qualified coach, we can help you with extra training to achieve your FA Level 1 qualification. Once you have completed your FA Level 1, you can start to work for the Bugs Group as a qualified and paid coach.
